Blue Telescope wins five Communicator awards

Blue Telescope, the interactive exhibit agency, has been recognized by the International Academy of the Visual Arts and awarded with five Communicator awards. The Silver Award of Distinction honors a variety of 2008-2009 projects in various categories. Blue Telescope was recognized from over 7,000 entries in this year’s competition which celebrates the creative excellence of communication professionals.


The Pfizer Zyvox challenge was honored with an award of excellence in the category of interactive multimedia; sales.
Created for ICAAC 2009, the interactive experience educates physicians about Zyvox and the treatment of infectious diseases using both data and a quiz on a multi-user, multi-touch Microsoft surface tabletop display.

Recognized with the award of distinction within the interactive multimedia; sales category were a variety of other interactive challenges and digital resource centers. The Pfizer Dimebon interactive table for ICAD 2009, the Pfizer VFEND pathogen challenge for ICAAC 2009, the Pfizer Lyrica fibromyalgia tender point simulator created for ACR 2009, and the Schering-Plough fertility challenge used at ASRM 2009 were all honored within the category.

Blue Telescope uses technology, storytelling and design to create engaging interactive exhibits and live events. From multi-touch and mobile apps to games, quizzes and social interactives, innovative solutions are developed using the latest technology to build traffic and deliver brand messages.

Founded by communication professionals over a decade ago, the Communicator awards is an annual competition honoring the best in advertising, corporate communication, public relations, and identity work for print, video, interactive, and audio.
