Bluehat Group, a London-based events agency specializing in team building and corporate events, launched a venues and events division that will be led by a new employee.
Anita Lowe, the new director of meetings & events, is the former CEO of Venues Event Management, which was bought by Capita Travel and Events. The new division will enable the company’s existing clients to access new services under one roof.
“I chose Bluehat as a strategic partner seven years ago when I owned Venues Event Management with my husband, Chris. We won the M&IT best agency award for five consecutive years, and I was interested in partners also acknowledged as ‘best in class’,” stated Lowe.
“For me, it’s about values we bring to our clients and standing out from the crowd. I’m looking forward to bringing further strength to the Bluehat Group with a whole new venue finding and events service with the sole aim of creating a ‘best in class’ agency. We’ll retain our core values whilst expanding our delivery capability.”
Often cited as one of the leading individuals in the events industry, Lowe brings more than 30 years of industry experience. She set up her first venues and events agency, Venues Event Management, in 1989 after 10 years with Holiday Inn, now Marriott, in sales and marketing.
