BlueHive, an exhibit designer and producer, successfully created a booth that conveyed the rebranding strategy of MEDHOST at HIMSS14 Annual Conference and Exhibition in Orlando, Fla., this past February.
MEDHOST, a provider of enterprise, departmental and healthcare engagement solutions, debuted a consolidated brand and exhibit following its recent rebranding from HealthTech Holdings and associated family of brands.
“In BlueHive, I knew that we would get an extensive branding and awareness package that would focus on our brand’s attributes while helping us convey how we wanted MEDHOST to be perceived as a company,” said Tom Mitchell, vice president of marketing, MEDHOST. “We were the talk of the show this year; the booth was positive, streamlined and clean; our presence was magnificent, and our image was raised exponentially.”
Work started on the 40 x 60 exhibit after Thanksgiving in 2013. To handle the complexity of launching the consolidated MEDHOST brand, the design team opted for seamless plasma technology that would tell the MEDHOST story from its original inception to the rebranding of today. Large tension fabric signs proclaiming the new brand were also hung, so the exhibit could be readily identified even from a distance.
The front of the central arch was loaded with interactive technology with the purpose of demonstrating MEDHOST’s new mobility solutions accompanied by a squad of iPads and a 65” monitor. Design savvy double-sided work stations with 40” touchscreens lined the perimeter, enabling in-depth, hands-on demonstrations of MEDHOST’s comprehensive product portfolio.
Two large meeting rooms were also incorporated into the concept, with one designed in the mold of a board room capable of hosting up to 10 executives. A semi-private meeting space with a touchscreen monitor and equipment room for additional demonstrations were also installed.
With so much technology on display, BlueHive linked-up with Boston-based audiovisual staging company AVFX to ensure that everything was working to its optimum capacity. AVFX loaned its lighting architects and multimedia team, and working in unison with BlueHive designers helped to create, in the words of BlueHive’s Executive Vice President Jack Hally, “an illuminated oasis in which to exhibit MEDHOST’s family of products.”
“Our goal,” he continued, “was to match creative thought with our consultative role to give life to the MEDHOST vision.”
