CSI Worldwide, a leader in the tradeshow services space for nearly half a century, has hired industry veteran Bobby Lee to run their General Service Contracting division.
Lee has deep roots in the industry dating back to 1985 when he first became friends with Dave Centrowitz, CEO of CSI Worldwide. After co-founding Metropolitan Exposition in 2001 and growing it to one of the nation’s top service contractors in the industry, Lee worked hard to transition his team members and customers to their new “home” after Metro Expo was acquired.
“I’m ready to get back to my roots, doing what I love—helping others— while establishing CSI Worldwide as a premiere yet boutique General Service Contractor, working with one of my oldest friends in the industry, Dave Centrowitz,” says Lee. “As we begin a new chapter and our industry experiences a sort of rebirth after COVID-19, I will be here ready to serve customers in new ways with the same dedication as always.”
Lee has served on the board of ESCA for several years. He is also known as the founder of a charity that has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to help local schools support autism programs and recently opened a restaurant which has become a sensation on TikTok.
Lee’s service to the community is recognized time and time again as he was awarded Citizen of the Year in his hometown of Ridgefield Park, N.J., and is memorialized on the Wall of Fame of his high school alma mater (an honor bestowed on less than 1 percent of graduates) at Ridgefield Park High School.
Convention Service, Inc. began in 1972 to fill the need for a skilled and personalized labor force to meet an ever-expanding tradeshow industry. The catalyst to their founding was the formation and development of a partnership with one of the leading companies of our time, Panasonic. The tradition has continued and expanded to CSI Worldwide with the goal to provide the best and most comprehensive service possible in the tradeshow industry.
