Cars, RVs are focus of new China tradeshows

With the automotive and RV industries having taken firm root in China in recent years and the economy growing rapidly in the world’s largest nation by population, two new tradeshows celebrating each industry get underway in August in Beijing.

Messe Düsseldorf is expanding its activities in China with a joint tradeshow scheduled from Aug. 10 through Aug. 12, to host the inaugural events “All in Tuning, Trade Fair for Professional Car Tuning” and “All in Caravaning, Trade Fair for Motor Homes and Caravans.” The joint tradeshow is scheduled at the National Agricultural Exhibition Center in Beijing, which has more than 215,000 square feet of exhibit space.

More than 150 exhibitors are scheduled to present innovations in car tuning, concept cars, personalized vehicle construction, racing cars and accessories as well as motor homes, RVs, caravans, off-road vehicles and base vehicles. A total of 10,000 visitors are expected to attend.

The two tradeshows are planned to become annual events jointly organized by Messe Düsseldorf and its subsidiary, Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., and the Chinese company YASN, the organizer of China’s largest automotive accessory exhibition. All in Tuning and All in Caravaning will benefit from Messe Düsseldorf’s experience as the organizer of the tradeshow Caravan Salon International Dusseldorf, which is held every year in Düsseldorf, Germany.

China’s enthusiasm for cars is legendary, and the market is booming. There is considerable interest in events where professionals and enthusiastic amateurs can experience international trends and innovations. Among companies scheduled for exhibiting at All in Tuning 2012 are Brabus, AC Schnitzer and Abt from Germany, Hummer, Mustang and 3M from the United States, Thule from Sweden, Mactac from Belgium, Tomato from South Korea and Hapro from the Netherlands.

China’s market for caravans, motor homes and camping has developed rapidly over the last three years. As an information and order platform, All in Caravaning 2012 focuses on a market segment that is still relatively young. Exhibits will include vehicles, camping equipment and accessories. In addition, more than 20 campsites will offer their services to visitors and a range of seminars will discuss the different aspects of mobile leisure activities.

Exhibitors scheduled for All in Caravaning 2012 include well-known Chinese companies, such as Great Wall and Zhengtai Xier, presenting their latest caravan models, while Zoemo and Zhongyu will introduce their innovations based on a Mercedes Benz chassis.

International brands, such as Knaus Tabbert, Hobby and Fendt from Germany, Giotti from Italy, River Forrest and Jay Feather from the United States as well as Jurgens Ci from South Africa, will be represented by their Chinese business partners.
