The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) released a preliminary list of exhibitors for its first CES Unveiled Paris, an industry event for members of the consumer electronics industry. Scheduled for Oct. 3 in Paris, France, the event will showcase new products from startup companies and established brands.
Bringing together innovative technology companies, top media and key industry influences, CES Unveiled will set the bar for what is to come at the 2014 International CES, the world’s gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies. To be held in Las Vegas on Jan. 7-10, 2014, CES has broken the groundwork for many innovators and breakthrough technologies for more then 40 years.
“We have already seen tremendous interest in this inaugural event both from exhibitors and attendees alike and we are thrilled to bring the excitement of CES to France with this event,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CEA. “CES Unveiled PARIS provides a fantastic opportunity for top media, analysts and European industry influencers to see the next generation of innovation coming from this region.”
Current CES Unveiled Paris exhibitors include Geonaute, Keecker, Klipsch, Netatmo, Oyalight, Parrot, SuperTooth, Ubiant, Viotech and Wyplay.
Addressing the state of the consumer technology industry in France, Shawn DuBravac, chief economist of CEA, will highlight worldwide trends and implications for the French marketplace. Showcasing emerging tech trends likely to unfold at the 2014 International CES, he will be revealing drivers and deterrents for consumer technology adoption and quantifying levels of country-specific innovation.
