The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and the PCMA Education Foundation will benefit several Dallas charities through various annual meeting host community efforts. Events will benefit the North Texas Food Bank, Family Gateway, which provides transitional housing and services; Keep Dallas Beautiful, which works to improve air and water quality, especially in underserved neighborhoods; USO Dallas/Fort Worth, which is providing DVD to troops deployed overseas; and Dallas Challenge, which provides programs and services for youth to dissuade them from destructive behaviors.
The PCMA Network for the Needy volunteers will participate through the associations Hospitality Helping Hands as well as participants in the Foundation’s Party With a Purpose will help to deliver needed help to the PCMA 2010 Annual Meeting host community.
Each year, tens of thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours are put to work in the host community. The PCMA Annual Meeting, Convening Leaders, is set for Jan. 10-13 in Dallas.
