Champion Exposition Services, a provider of event marketing services for tradeshows and corporate events, announced the expansion of its national exhibit sales team. The changes are part of Champion’s longer term investment strategy and evolving business model in the experiential events industry.
“We are excited to expand our exhibit sales team to educate exhibitors on how Champion’s Exhibitor Solutions can help them compete on the expo floor and potentially win a larger piece of market share,” said Rick Halvorson, vice president of Champion Exhibit.
Don J. Lyon joins the Champion team as a national sales executive. He has been in the tradeshow industry for more than 25 years, which includes positions in design, sales and management. Starting as a custom exhibit designer, Lyon quickly moved into sales for such companies as Exhibit Group and Sparks Exhibits, as well as be being part of the account executive team for GES Exposition Services Exhibit and Design Division.
Juan C. Bustillo brings more than two decades of experience in professional convention and tradeshow production to his new role as a national sales executive. Prior to joining Champion, Bustillo was a national account executive at GES Exposition Services where he was responsible for driving sales in the exhibits and design division. Previously, he worked over 15 years at Excel Destination Management – Florida Convention Services where he had various responsibilities.
Champion’s expansion of it sales organization is part of its longer term investment strategy and evolving business model in the experiential events industry.
