Chennai (India) Trade Center hosting Automotive Engineering Show 2013

The seventh annual Automotive Engineering Show is scheduled from June 6-8 at the Chennai Trade Center in Chennai, India.

The show serves as a platform for vehicle and auto-component companies to demonstrate new technology and connect automobile manufacturers to providers of latest systems and processes to optimize efficiency, quality and costs. The event largely targets mid-level auto executives and managers responsible for the quality and quantity of production, especially those who arrange necessary materials, machines, tools and more. The event is organized by Focused Events, a business-to-business exhibition organizer headquartered in Mumbai, India.

More than 150 exhibitors are scheduled to display world-class automotive technologies and products. Among goods and services to be presented are IT solutions in design, development, planning and manufacturing, automation systems, factory control and sensors, assembly line system integrators and line builders, machining centers and metal-cutting and laser-cutting equipment. Also to be featured are the latest concepts in tools, jigs and fixtures for enhancing productivity, welding and laser welding, material-handling systems, automotive painting equipment, paint shop integrators, robotics and metrology, quality inspection and vision systems.

The show also will include the presentation of “Excellence Awards for Innovation & Creative Automation,” which rewards pioneers in the fields of quality, safety, energy efficiency, environmental protection, productivity and value improvement. AES 2013 could draw more than 7,000 visitors since it is being held at Chennai – one of the world’s top 10 emerging global manufacturing centers for automobiles.
