Hosted Buyer registration opened for China, Incentives, Business Travel and Meetings (CIBTM) 2014, taking place from Sept. 17-19 at the China National Convention Centre in Beijing.
Global meeting, events and business travel industry decision makers are invited to apply online.
The CIBTM Hosted Buyer Program will provide over 400 high-level buyers and meeting planners from Asia and the rest of the world with the opportunity to attend the show (fully hosted), where they will be able to conduct business with some 500 national, regional and international hotels, venues, destinations, technology suppliers, business travel and event services providers.
“With the significant improvement of China’s meetings industry, the country has become a global key player within this sector, and I can’t be more pleased that the show is annually taking place in Beijing with its great infrastructure and connectivity. In terms of the show, what I find really useful about CIBTM is that all the people that I need to see are all in one place, which provides me with the opportunity to have strategic discussions about how we can work together to achieve our business’ objectives,” Johnny Wang, event manager, Taikang Insurance Corporation Limited and Hosted Buyer at CIBTM 2013. “Furthermore, the show gives me the possibility to meet new people and not only learn about the industry, but also about new destinations, hotels, venues and services. I will definitely come back in 2014.”
Hosted Buyers also have the opportunity to benefit from a tailored Knowledge Program designed to help their professional career development and future business growth.
“The CIBTM Knowledge Program provides learning for everyone from Hosted Buyers to trade visitors. It is designed for all levels and is focused for the Association, Corporate and Agency sectors and to fulfill our promises, we have joined up with some of the leading industry Associations, including Professional Convention Management Association, Meetings Professional International, International Congress and Convention Association and the Society for Incentive Travel Executives,” said Erica Keogan, associations and education manager, IBTM Events Portfolio, Reed Travel Exhibitions.
“At the same time, our partnership with RecertTrack, the world’s first online portal for certification and re-certification, is an essential tool for all delegates giving them a unique opportunity to track their industry related professional development activities, including the credits they obtain by attending the CIBTM Knowledge Program; therefore, we urge our delegates to go online through www.cibtm.com and join up before the show,” she added.
