ColorCraft has promoted Jorge Nieves to vice president of operations and Brad Dorr to director of engineering.
The moves shift two longtime technical leaders into expanded roles as ColorCraft continues to support custom tradeshow exhibits, branded environments, and large-scale exhibit programs.
Nieves moves into operations role

Nieves previously served as director of engineering and has more than 15 years of experience with ColorCraft. As vice president of operations, he will oversee production, engineering, and logistics across the company’s facilities.
His role will focus on coordination between design, fabrication, and onsite execution. In addition, he will continue working with leadership and cross-functional teams on workflow, efficiency, and project delivery.
“Jorge has been a cornerstone of our organization for many years,” says Doug Hughes, president and chief executive officer of ColorCraft. “He understands our business at every level and has consistently demonstrated the leadership, technical expertise, and accountability that define our team. This promotion is a natural next step and well deserved.”
Nieves is also an equity partner in ColorCraft and has contributed to the company’s operations, culture, and long-term direction.
Dorr named director of engineering

Dorr previously served as senior technical designer. In his new role, he will lead ColorCraft’s engineering team and oversee technical drawings, construction documentation, and fabrication-ready solutions for custom exhibits and branded environments.
He will also work with design, production, and project management teams to help move exhibit concepts into buildable plans.
“Brad has consistently demonstrated the technical expertise and leadership we look for in this role,” Hughes says. “He understands how to take ambitious ideas and turn them into executable solutions, and he’s earned the trust of both our internal teams and our clients. We’re excited to see him step into this leadership position.”
Dorr has supported complex exhibit programs through detailed drawing sets and collaboration across departments.
Promotions support exhibit operations
ColorCraft says the promotions reflect its focus on developing leadership from within and strengthening operations across engineering, production, and project execution.
The company supports Orlando-based shows such as NPE, Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), and InfoComm, as well as national exhibitions including CES, SEMA, and International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE).
