Concord Hospitality Enterprises, a hotel operator in North America, promoted an employee to senior vice president of marketing and sales.
After receiving his second promotion with the company, Kevin McAteer is responsible for direct sales, e-commerce and revenue management endeavors for the company’s 90 owned and managed hotels.
“The business of marketing hotels has changed dramatically over the past decade, and thanks to Kevin’s initiatives, Concord’s hotels are consistent market leaders,” said Nick Kellock, chief operating officer, Concord Hospitality Enterprises. “Kevin had the foresight to ensure that our hotels remained current in the rapidly evolving worlds of e-commerce and revenue management and, as a result, has played a major role in Concord’s growth and expansion these past several years.”
McAteer joined the company in 2003 and was promoted to vice president of sales and marketing in 2005. Earlier in his career, he held several leadership positions with Marriott International, including area general manager for Courtyard and certified regional sales trainer for Residence Inn. He holds a B.A. in hotel and restaurant management from Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa., and recently, he published his first book, “Daddy Can You Make Me Pancakes?”
