CORT chooses Florida district account executive

CORT Trade Show & Event Furnishings, a provider of furniture, lighting and accessory rentals, hired a district account executive in the north Florida district.

This strategic hire of Felisha Cook enables CORT to grow in Northern Florida as she assists area event professionals with their meeting and event furnishing needs. She will also be responsible for growing existing accounts as well as cultivating new business.

“We’re excited to have a strategic, relationship-oriented account executive to grow the north Florida territory,” said Steve Peck, national director of sales, CORT.  “Felisha’s experience and passion will serve as a catalyst for growth in this district.”

Cook joins CORT from Staples, where she served as a business development consultant and grew the business in the greater Jacksonsville area. She also has eight years of experience in the events and hospitality industry.

She received a bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University where she studied entrepreneurship.
