To help LEGO Systems Inc. unveil its new product line, including LEGO Legends of Chima, at this year’s International Toy Fair tradeshow Creatacor Inc. designed and built a large-scale booth.
The custom exhibit booth designed by Creatacor is 4,500 square feet in size and
includes a showroom, business center, five conference rooms and an interactive public relations area. Toy Fair 2013, held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City from Feb. 10-13, is the largest toy and youth product marketplace in the Western Hemisphere.
Prior to the kickoff of this year’s event, the Toy Industry Association (TIA), the nonprofit trade association for producers and importers of toys and youth entertainment products sold in North America, held its 13th annual Toy of the Year Awards and Toy Industry Hall of Fame induction ceremony. LEGO took home a slew of awards, including Toy of the Year, Activity Toy of the Year, Girl Toy of the Year and Specialty Toy of the Year.
“Many of us adults are still kids at heart. What better place is there for us to unleash our talents than in a fun, stimulating environment?” said Thomas H. Lemery, president and CEO, Creatacor. “We enjoy every aspect of this show from setup to breakdown and especially working with LEGO to help market their new products – all 250 new construction sets.”
The 110th annual American International Toy Fair brings together more than 1,000 exhibiting manufacturers, distributors, importers and sales agents from around the globe to showcase their toy and entertainment products. Underway now through Feb. 13, the Toy Fair playground includes everything from classic toys to interactive entertainment on a tradeshow floor of nearly 370,000 square feet. Toy Fair is produced by TIA.
