CSI hires two new employees for Phoenix office

CSI etc., a national general service contractor based in Phoenix, Ariz., has announced the hiring of a new coordinator for their Logistics division, as well as a new national sales manager.


Kim Schroeder, the new coordinator, will be at the forefront in driving CSI etc.’s Logistics division and will also be a key addition to the Sales and Customer Service departments.

 

“We are excited to add Kim to our team,” said Karen May, vice president of sales and marketing for CSI etc. “I have worked with Kim as a mentor during her schooling.  From the outset, she brings a young, fresh and energetic perspective to our group. It’s exciting to be able to work with smart and ambitious people, and Kim has shown a maturity well beyond her years. She will help us drive our Logistics division and provide new levels of customer response.”

 

Schroeder graduated from the Northern Arizona University in 2010 with a B.S. in Hotel & Restaurant Management. During her time at NAU, Schroeder served as president for the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Associations International Collegiate Chapter, and won Student of the Year honors in 2009 for the HSMAI- Arizona chapter. Kim worked at the Westin Kierland in Scottsdale for 5 years while going to school.

 

CSI etc. has also announced the hiring of a new national sales manager, Mark Farmer.

 

Farmer grew up in Iowa and moved to Phoenix in 1994 where he immediately started his more than 17 year career in the hospitality industry.

Farmer has spent the last seven years in convention services at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa where he was part of the Starwood “Convention Services Team of the Year” in 2006 and 2010.  He also earned “Associate of the Year” honors for 2009.

“There are a lot of opportunities for CSI etc. right now, and bringing a salesperson like Mark into the company is one of them,” said May. “Mark brings a stellar reputation of service to his many clients and with his extensive experience is ready to be connected to an innovative company where he can make a strong impact.”

In addition to providing premier customer service, Mark also enjoys playing golf and rooting for his favorite college football team, the Iowa Hawkeyes.

“I care a lot about my clients, and a lot of them are friends,” said Farmer. “I know the CSI etc. team, like me, get personally invested and treat clients the same way I do.”
