McNabb Exhibit Flooring brings fresh, highly-motivated talent to sunny Las Vegas: Benjamin Williams (pictured above left) and Andrew Dahlbacka (pictured above right)—both Michigan natives, where McNabb Flooring has its roots—recently relocated more than 2,000 miles to Nevada to expand the nearly 70-year-old company’s reach to the West Coast.
Taking over for McNabb’s newly planted West Coast operation, Williams and Dahlbacka are both eager to jump on any opportunity to show what they can do. They both have diverse backgrounds in flooring and customer service, and according to Aaron Smith, director of McNabb’s Tradeshow Division, they “will be strong additions to this location.”
Tradeshow Account Manager Williams has been with McNabb doing commercial sales for two years and will handle tradeshow sales and growth for the West Coast in his new location. Married with two daughters, he graduated from Mott College in 2014 and is looking forward to hiking and off-roading in the Vegas Valley.
Dahlbacka is the warehouse overseer for McNabb’s new Vegas branch and says, “My responsibilities include storing carpet and other flooring material, preparing orders for clients (which includes measuring, cutting, cleaning material, etc), shipping and receiving, and in some cases delivery of material directly to installation sites. Obviously, anything in the realm of general warehouse management is also included in this. I work closely with my coworker Ben to make sure that orders go out smoothly and on-time.”
Dahlbacka moved to Las Vegas from a small town in southeast Michigan called South Lyon, about 40 minutes west of Detroit. He adds, “I moved here in late February of this year, just a few weeks before COVID-19 pretty much shut down the entire country. I had lived in Michigan my entire life up to this point, so moving across the country and seeing the mountains around Las Vegas for the first time was a major change.”
Says Smith, “With the country slowly starting to recover from the effects of COVID-19, our new team is ready to hit the ground running for all your events and commercial flooring needs.”
