ExCeL London has announced the appointment of David Miles as chief financial officer.
Miles worked at the Big 6 accounting firm BDO, for 21 years, 15 of which as an audit and advisory partner, where he specialized in strategic consulting with high growth, entrepreneurially-led businesses.
He then went on to build his own successful advisory practice, completing leadership qualifications at Harvard Business School and Wharton Business School. Subsequently, David worked as an advisory partner for RSM Baker Tilly and more latterly, managing director and advisory partner at Ecovis Wingrave Yeats LLP.
In each of these positions, he has always taken a keen interest in developing people, teams and leadership potential as well as implementing effective people engagement strategies. He has acted as an executive coach to a wide range of CEOs and boards across a variety of business sectors.
