Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) has selected specialist global public relations agency Davies Tanner to serve as a communications partner for the coming year, a relationship that will allow PCMA to further develop its brand outside of North America.

A PR Week top 150 agency, Davies Tanner work with a number of global clients in the meetings and events sector, including the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC), ExCeL London, International Confex, Dolce Hotels and Resorts, Tourism Ireland, Business Travel Market, the O2 Arena and Chelsea FC. In addition, Davies Tanner is also working on a number of projects surrounding the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The agency is headquartered in London, with offices in Barcelona and Tampa, Fla.

Additional projects currently planned include working with PCMA, SECC and Visit Scotland to promote the Global Corporate Summit, to be held July 22-26 in Glasgow, Scotland, and working with PCMA and ExCeL London to develop communications surrounding the first Global Medical Meetings Summit, taking place in 2013.
The partnership will also benefit PCMA members and attendees as Davies Tanner will share its expertise in Destination Public Relations, Crisis Communications and Major Events Promotion through PCMA education events and white papers.
