DB Schenker USA Names Michael Stromeyer Director, Fairs and Exhibitions, USA

DB Schenker USA is proud to announce that Michael Stromeyer will join the Schenker USA team in the role of director, fairs and exhibitions, USA. Stromeyer will be relocating from Frankfurt, Germany where–as branch manager Mannheim/Frankfurt–he managed the fairs and exhibitions businesses in both of those locations.

Stromeyer has been with the company for 22 years, starting off with an apprenticeship in Frankfurt, working his way up the ranks in various managerial roles in the global sports events, and fairs and exhibitions sectors. In his new role, Stromeyer will be based in the Chicago branch, and will report to CEO Robert Walpole.

Says Walpole, “We want to take the opportunity to thank Shiara Beecroft for managing this business on an interim basis over the last seven months. During this period Shiara and the team did an excellent job working with the team in stabilizing operations and business processes in this market. We are now ‘ready to grow’ in this sector, and we look forward to commencing that growth journey with Michael when he comes on board.”

Stromeyer will begin his new role on January 2.
