e4Design donation helps needy children

e4designFive children in Ethiopia, Philippines and Columbia are getting medical treatment and schooling for the first time. A Norcross company, e4 Design, based in Georgia, is sponsoring the children through Compassion International, a Christian child advocacy ministry.

“I thank God for people like you who give,” wrote Jose Fernando Baquero, a pastor working with Compassion in Colombia. “Your contribution is worthy and indispensable to keep God’s purpose that every human self lives in condition of dignity and have the chance to develop their skills as responsible, and good people.”

“I want to extend my heartfelt thanks and appreciation that you are standing with us to serve God,” said Assefa Habte Gebriel of Jimma Meserete Kirstos Church in Ethiopia. “Now we feel happy because you have helped us.”

The children being helped have been given the opportunity to attend school with other children in the community as well as vocational skill training to help them be self-sufficient. In addition, they are now receiving medical care when needed – something they were denied access to previously.

“The letters we’ve received are truly touching and have given us a deeper connection to the children,” said Lance Wachholz of e4 Design. “It is a great feeling to be making a difference in the lives of these children. We feel blessed by the opportunity to give and appreciate all of our customers for making it possible.”

Compassion International, the company organizing the sponsorship, works with children from 26 different developing countries around the world with the purpose to provide a safe, nurturing haven for children, so they can become all they can be.
