EACA announces annual Member of the Year award

The Exhibitor Appointed Contractors Association (EACA) has announced that it is establishing a new annual award called the “Member of the Year” Award.The EACA Member of the Year will be announced as part of the Awards Program at the EACA Annual Meeting, taking place on August 1, 2011, co-located with the TSEA Red Diamond Congress, in Orlando, Fla.


“We’re very excited to announce our Member of the Year Award and, by doing so,recognize the significant contributions that an EACA member has made to this organization each year,”said Jim Wurm, executive director of the EACA.

The EACA Member of the Year Award will be given to the member company that distinguishes itself in consideration of its volunteer service on National/Chapter boards; attendance at national and local meetings; sponsorship of national or local meetings; membership referrals; activity and contribution to the EACA website.

The EACA Member of the Year will be recognized at the EACA Annual Awards program, and:
1. Presented with a plaque conveying the honor.

2. Presented with an EACA Member of the Year pin.

3. Recognized with a press release sent to industry press and to local newspapers.

4. Recognized in a special feature article in Exhibit City News.

5. Recognized in the Showfloor Buzz.

6. Recognized on a “Member of the Year Award” page on the EACA website.

7. Given a “Member of Year” ribbon annually with his/her Workshop badge.

8. Receive a 50 percent discount on EACA annual dues for one year.
