ECN Seeks Photos & Memories for In Memoriam Stories

(Pictured above: the late Richard Apps)

The tradeshow industry has been suffering many, many losses in the last few months—and Exhibit City News is on the front lines of how we can best help.

We begin with the news that we think is the most relevant to the lives of the meeting and tradeshow industries—and so we share five different stories every weekday on our website, including industry news, people on the move, international news and features and columns from our magazine. But beyond the news, we want to create the feeling of a family—as our industry associations, unions and teamwork create long-lasting friendships that can feel just like family.

And so, we want to honor those who have passed away with heartwarming tributes that include memories and photos shared by their industry family. And to do that, we ask the help of our readers. In our next issue, we are looking to do In Memoriam stories on Nth Degree veterans “Cowboy Richie” Apps (Chicago/Texas), Monte Moore (Nashville) and Big Joe Rafferty (San Diego), GES EVP National Accounts Daryl Clove (Las Vegas), 3D Exhibits’ Steve Wiskup (Chicago) and 831’s Richard McClain (San Diego). And if you know of other industry folks who have passed away, please let us know so that we may honor their memory too.

If you have memories to share or can share some photos, please send them to newsdesk@ExhibitCityNews.com . Thank you in advance for your help! Exhibit City News sends our deepest condolences to the families of those who have passed.
