EDPA Partners with Vycom

With environmental issues at the forefront of the minds of individuals and companiesparticularly the global crisis that plastic waste has createdEDPA announced a new partnership with Vycom, an affiliate of the AZEK company that offers high-quality products made from up to 100% post-consumer and post-industrial recycled materials, that allows organizations in the exhibition industry to recycle a large portion of their waste. EDPA and Vycom developed a no-cost program that takes back and recycles printed or unprinted PVC, PE and acrylic sheets, as well as scraps and drops from finishing and fabricating.

EDPA members interested in enrolling in the Vycom Recycling Program should contact Mike Sherrod (mike.sherrod (at) azekco.com) or Ryan Manley (Ryan.Manley (at) ReturnPolymers.com). Once you’ve enrolled in the program, Vycom will provide you with containers to store your recyclable materials. Please note that you must separate your materials (e.g., store PVC and acrylic in separate bins). When you’re ready for your materials to be picked up, contact Vycom at recycling (at) azekco.com. Vycom will coordinate with you and other EDPA member companies to plan a pick-up and replace your storage bins. Your scrap and waste will be recycled and repurposed for raw materials that make long-lasting and sustainable products, such as TimberTech Decking, AZEK Exteriors Trim Boards, and VYCOM PVC, HDPE and PP sheets.

PVC, PE and acrylic; printed and unprinted rigid PVC sheets; end-of-use commercial and retail signage scraps and drops from cutting and fabrication; tradeshow, mobile exhibits, branded environments, marine, and more all can be recycled.
