July 13 will see the start of the annual TS2 Total Solutions Marketing for the Exhibit and Event Professionals, a conference dedicated to the tradeshow marketing industry.

TS2 will take place in Boston next month, but the conference and expo is again teaming up with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, to bring educational, university-affiliated education to the tradeshow industry.

July 13 will see the start of the annual TS2 Total Solutions Marketing for the Exhibit and Event Professionals, a conference dedicated to the tradeshow marketing industry. The event will cover a wide span of topics all designed to teach professionals how to build an effective marketing strategy for their company exhibits and events. An expo is set to begin a day later on July 14 for the last two days of the conference.

The main focus of the conference, though, is to help professionals advance in their knowledge of the industry and to provide cost-effective education for event marketing professionals. Over the course of the three-day conference industry leaders have been brought in to teach myriad topics including tradeshow technology, green exhibiting, mobile marketing and social media, brand-building and many more. More than 40 sessions are being offered, including courses such as “Policing Cyberspace: Social Media & the Law,” “The Changing Face of Hybrid Exhibits: 2010” and “Your Next Negotiation: More Than an Agreement, It’s a Relationship.”

Additionally its 2010 conference program will once again qualify attendees to receive Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from UNLV’s Division of Educational Outreach. CEU is the global standard by which individuals pursue ongoing professional development within their field of expertise.

“We are proud to offer a high-quality education program that continues to be university-affiliated,” said Michele Nebel Peake, TS2 conference director. “Not only does it demonstrate to the industry the caliber of the education provided at TS2, but it provides even more value to the attendee.”

In addition to being affiliated with UNLV, the conference will be packed with many more educational benefits. The International Association for Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) will also be co-locating its Mid-Year Meeting, including the CEM Advanced Institute, CEM courses and Senior Executives Roundtable, and many of the TS2 sessions will also carry CEU credits toward the Certified Manager Exhibits (CME) designation, which is seen as a valuable tool for industry recognition and advancement of individual careers.

TS2 is owned and produced by National Trade Productions (NTP), a leader in the production, management and marketing of trade expositions, conferences and special events. TS2 is sponsored by the Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA). For more information contact NTP at (703) 683-8500 or visit the web site at www.ts2show.com.
