EIBTM, the global event for the meetings and events industry, announced that the first-ever EIBTM Meetings Leadership Summit is set to take place on Nov. 18 in Barcelona, Spain.
Created as part of the natural evolution of the original CEO Summit, the Meetings Leadership Summit will bring together like-minded individuals who are tasked with making their organizations more competitive, more agile, more profitable and better able to respond to constantly changing business dynamics.
Facilitated by BBC journalist and professional presenter Nadine Dereza, the event will feature Christophe Morin as the keynote speaker, who will deliver his session on “Neuromarketing: The New Science of Decision Making.”
“Neuromarketing merges neuroscience with marketing to help target the part of the brain that drives buying decisions: the reptilian brain,” said Morin. “This new science will help create messages your customers will finally notice, understand, remember and value over those of your competitors. You can no longer ignore it, especially in tough market conditions.”
With more than 25 years of management and consumer psychology experience, Morin, the co-founder and CEO of Salesbrain, has a true passion for understanding why and how people buy. He has helped hundreds of companies reach new level of performance by applying cutting-edge cognitive sciences.
The summit will commence with a drinks reception hosted by the Barcelona Convention Bureau. Attendees will be welcomed by Nadine Dereza before enjoying a three-course business lunch before the keynote session. There will be an opportunity for attendees to participate in a Q&A discussion session before the summit draws to a close.
Places are limited, and admission is restricted to 150 CEOs, presidents, vice presidents, senior directors, senior decision makers and entrepreneurs only.
EIBTM 2013 will take place from Nov. 19-21. The EIBTM Forum will take place the day before the exhibition on Nov. 18.
