Elevation Exhibits & Events, an award-winning exhibit design and event-planning firm, has announced that a new employee is joining the company as an account executive with more than a decade of marketing and branding experience.
Martha Williams has designed, directed and managed marketing departments in fields ranging from crisis response to specialty retail (Williams Sonoma) and distinctly branded food merchants large and small (Whole Foods Market, Tiny Trapeze Confections). Martha’s career began with the Mass.,-based firm Oxygen, where her project management included branding and marketing for the Big Brother/Big Sister non-profit organization, and new drug-naming for pharmaceutical clients, among other clients.
“Marketing and branding for widely different industries depends on melding project management with unique graphic and design skills, and the caliber of that fusion is what makes Elevation Exhibits & Events such a creative destination for clients and for me,” said Williams. “I look forward to working with colleagues and clients who demand the most discerning focus in brand messaging and marketing strategies.”
She joined Tiny Trapeze Confections, an artisanal candy maker, to direct the company’s package design. When Whole Foods acquired the company, Martha became the liaison for regional marketing and design of prepared foods at their Cambridge, Mass., corporate headquarters.
“As a conduit between Elevation Exhibits & Events’ design departments and business development, Martha’s understanding of creative execution and her ability to build relationships with clients will serve both sides extremely well,” said Jim Burke, Elevation Exhibits & Events founder and principal. “She is supremely organized and multi-faceted.”
