Elevation Exhibits & Events, an exhibit design and event-planning firm, has announced the addition of four new staff members to support its growing client list and entry into new markets.
According to Jim Burke, founder and principal of Elevation Exhibits & Events, this marks the company’s second staff increase in recent months, and follows the addition of an exciting new client, Rooster Teeth, in the burgeoning fan-based industry of gaming, comics, video and film.
“Many of our clients are in markets that are dynamic and fast-growing, and they need fresh thinking, often on short notice,” said Burke.
The recent hires have deepened Elevation Exhibits & Events’ capabilities in several areas, including tradeshow planning and booth design, as well as comprehensive event marketing. He said the company has also added staff to strengthen services to existing clients.
Sue Kelly has joined Elevation Exhibits as an account manager. She has 20 years of diverse tradeshow experience, including show management, general contracting, and exhibit design, and has worked on the client side as an exhibitor in the high-tech industry.
Steve Barch has been appointed account executive for business development.
He brings 14 years of experience to the role, with a focus on graphic design and production, and design team management. Steve’s role is to oversee the success and growth of both existing and new clients.
Tom Mitchell has been named graphic designer and will be responsible for providing graphic design services to clients from concept to final production. He has previously worked as a graphic designer for an advertising publication, where he handled conceptualization, marketing, design and production on various projects.
Arriane Aktarian has also joined the company as an exhibit designer. She is a recent graduate of Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, where she was awarded a Presidential Merit Scholarship and was selected to exhibit her thesis work at the annual Pratt Show. Her fresh take on exhibit design brings a new perspective to the Elevation Exhibits & Events’ design team.
