Event Eye Benefit from Success at UK’s The Meetings Show

Event EyeEvent Eye has seen direct benefit from their success at The Future of Meetings 2016 – a showcase hosted at The Meetings Show in association with The Meetings Design Institute.

Organized by Centaur Live (a division of Centaur Media Plc), The Meetings Show is the premier event for the UK inbound and outbound meetings industry, taking place 13-15 June 2017 at Olympia, London. Organized by meeting professionals for meeting professionals it is focused around a large exhibition, networking opportunities and professional education.

Event Eye is an easy to use event app focused on organizing and saving time for meetings and event professionals in their otherwise busy schedules. The app was announced as the winner of the Future of Meetings showcase at The Meetings Show by Event Director Steve Knight. Other contenders taking part in the showcase included Ottervibe, Happinov, NetworkTables, Glisser and Mash Machine.

“We are honored and thankful for the award because it shows that the industry shares our vision for friendly and easy to use event apps,” commented Frederik Hoel, CEO and Founder of Event Eye. “The Meetings Show brings together a global network of meetings professionals and, with the help of The Meetings Design Institute, we have been able to speak directly to them. We are currently at the important stage of expanding our target markets and taking on more international clients.

“Getting in touch with so many UK based clients has therefore been very valuable for us and we are looking forward to be working with them. In addition, winning the award has led to additional opportunities – something we would not have had without attending The Meetings Show.”

The Future of Meetings 2016 gave start-up businesses, with less than ten staff and less than three years’ experience in the meetings and events sector, a chance to showcase their products and services to buyers in a technology focused environment.

“It is important that we look to the future of our industry and apps such as Event Eye are a huge part of that,” said Steve Knight, Event Director at The Meetings Show. “With the support of The Meetings Design Institute we have hopefully given Event Eye and others an opportunity to really connect with their target markets. The success of ‘The Future of Meetings’ has been pleasing and it is our intention to host it once again at The Meetings Show next year. Congratulations to Event Eye and, as a meeting and events professional myself, I look forward to seeing the app in the future!”
