EventsAIR’s Renee Elliott Wins Silver Stevie Award

Brisbane, Australia-based EventsAIR Global Customer Success Director Renee Elliott has been named the winner of a Silver Stevie  Award in the Female Executive of the Year –Business Services –11 to 2,500 Employees category in the 17th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run–worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards. Winners will be celebrated during a virtual awards ceremony on December 9.

More than 1,500 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 100 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year.

Elliott started out at EventsAIRin 2001 as a receptionist. Over her 19-year career, she moved through the ranks, taking on the roles of training manager, customer relations manager, project director, to global customer success director where she now manages a global group covering education, customer success and customer relations. She was instrumental in the user interface design of the award-winning EventsAIR event management solution that is used by thousands of event planners globally. Recently, she supported the development of their virtual event solution OnAIR that has allowed event organizers to run virtual events amidst the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions and maintain some form of business continuity.

Entries for the 2021 Stevie Awards for Women in Business will open in May. The 2021 awards dinner will be staged on Nov. 6 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
