evvnt, the London-based event marketing specialist, appointed a new global sales manager who formerly worked with  Reed Business Information, EyeforTravel and Informa telecoms.

Joining the company is Paul Lane as a sales manager. According to company officials, Lane’s focus on improving sales growth and customer retention will be welcomed.

Lane will be responsible for managing and growing the evvnt sales team who have now proven sales success in over 70 countries worldwide.

“I have been involved in sales in my previous roles. evvnt is the only company in the market offering distribution and publishing software to event managers, and as a consequence enabling each event to dramatically improve its SEO,” said Lane. “I look forward to the new challenge that this will present and I am keen to work with the rest of the sales team driving evvnt’s growth.”

Lane has more than nine years of experience in selling high-ticket B2B sponsorship, exhibitions and marketing intelligence. He brings to evvnt more than 17 years’ experience in senior sales and business development roles. This is combined with his cross-cultural interpersonal skills through dealing with senior management from Europe, Asia and the Americas.
