Cvent, a meetings and event-management technology company, today announced the 2nd annual Corporate Meetings Summit, an elite event for corporate meeting and travel executives worldwide, will take place from June 5-7 at the Peabody Orlando in Florida.
The 2013 Corporate Meetings Summit will host high-level corporate meeting and event planners from around the globe for three days of education and networking. During the event, attendees will have a chance to hear from industry leaders and representatives from some of the world’s most recognizable companies. Cvent will also be introducing its first-ever client-award ceremony during the last day of the event.
“After last year’s inaugural event, we received an overwhelming response from attendees and we are excited for what’s in store at this year’s Corporate Meetings Summit as we continue to improve and enhance this key industry meeting,” said Eric Eden, vice president of marketing, Cvent. “This year’s event once again will bring together some of the industry’s finest to create an interactive forum for sharing valuable tips and best practices.”
In addition to the educational opportunities available to attendees at the event, SeaWorld Orlando is sponsoring a private night out at the theme park’s brand new mega-attraction, Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin. This will be the first-ever event hosted at the attraction and will give the attendees an opportunity to network with other corporate meeting professionals. Other sponsors of the Corporate Meetings Summit include the Peabody Orlando and Visit Orlando.
In 2012, Cvent hosted the first annual Corporate Meetings Summit at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, near Washington, D.C. Approximately 93 percent of the nearly 200 attendees said they would recommend attending this event to their colleagues and peers.
Over the next several months, additional information about speakers and the full schedule will be revealed. If you are interested in attending or would like more information about the 2013 Corporate Meetings Summit please visit: http://campaigns.cvent.com/CMSRequestInvite.
