Executive Women International names AD-EX ‘Outstanding Organization’

Executive Women International (EWI), a national networking organization for female business professionals, has named Cincinnati-based AD-EX International the outstanding member firm of the year for 2012.

The Lucille Johnson Perkins award, named after EWI’s founding member, is given on an annual basis to an EWI member firm that exhibits outstanding levels of support and contribution to EWI on both a national and local scale. Founded in 1939, EWI has 70 membership chapters nationally, and 2,000 businesses and organizations belong to those 70 chapters.

Each membership chapter nominates one firm from their respective chapter for award eligibility each year. The EWI national corporate board then reviews each of the 70 nominated firms. Award criteria considered by the national board includes level of endorsement given by the member firm to Executive Women International, the member firm’s support of professional and peer development within EWI, and the level of community involvement within EWI exhibited by the member firm.

“AD-EX has been a member of EWI since 1996 and has benefited immensely from our membership,” said Cheryl Wood, director of business development, AD-EX. “Our active employee representatives to EWI have also grown personally and professionally, which has allowed greater growth for AD-EX as a whole.”

The award was presented to AD-EX during the EWI Leadership Conference & National Meeting in Dallas.

AD-EX International is a full-service, experiential-marketing and design firm. Headquartered in Cincinnati, AD-EX specializes in designing and producing tradeshow exhibits, branded environments and large-scale events.
