Exhibition Place, Canada’s largest entertainment venue, announced the appointment of a new sales manager and senior account executive.
Stephanie Lander, CMP, will move up from senior account executive of association market to sales manager, reporting directly to the director of sales and marketing. Meanwhile, Geoff Mak, CEM, CMP, laterally moves up from account executive to senior account executive, reporting directly to Lander. Mak will continue to manage the corporate market but operate in a more senior role.
Mak will also continue in his role as the current VP of Membership with Meetings Professionals International (MPI), Toronto Chapter, while Lander’s new role involves the GTA Association Market as well as managing Exhibition Place’s corporate team.
Arlene Campbell, general manager of sales and events, Exhibition Place, said it was important to have their own team committed to their continuous professional growth within the organization.
