Experient creates an executive role for new employee

Experient, a source for integrated meeting and event services, hired a director of contract management.

This new role was created for Pam Nutting to enhance the Housing Services team’s strategic hotel contract management and negotiations and build upon Experient’s relationships with event hotels and convention and visitors bureaus (CVBs).

“By bringing Pam and her expertise on board, we are ensuring that we can better advocate on behalf of our housing clients and build even stronger hotel and CVB partnerships,” said Heidi A. Voorhees, senior vice president of Housing, Experient.

Previously, Nutting worked in show management as well as oversaw event registration and housing processes. She served as the director of expo operations for Cygnus Business Media, where she managed event housing, supplier contracting, registration and other event operational duties for more than 35 annual events, including Firehouse Expo, National Pavement Expo and the Facilities Expos. She also was an account manager with an event housing company, handling association and tradeshow organizer accounts while maintaining relationships with key event cities and hotel properties.

Nutting is an active member with International Association of Exhibitions & Events (IAEE), where she has been a board member for the Midwestern Chapter since 2008. She volunteered as the Chapter’s charity liaison.
