After hosting the 5th annual “Pack for Impact” event in Denver, Experient, a source for integrated meeting and event solutions, raised $9,500 for the Food Bank of the Rockies’ Kids Café program and Totes of Hope – Children.

“We truly value our partnership with Experient and all the great sponsors of Pack for Impact,” said Kim Ruotsala, vice president of development, Food Bank of the Rockies. “[The company] made an impact, providing nearly 430,000 meals over the past 15 years.”

The Kids Café and Totes of Hope – Children programs are designed to serve balanced meals to children throughout the Denver metropolitan community. During the 2013 fiscal year, the Food Bank distributed 46.5 million pounds of food and non-food essentials to people in need.

Over the last five years, Yurii Land, CMP, strategic account manager with Experient, has chaired the event.

“I am honored to see our industry patrons and clients donate their time and money to a worthy cause,” said Land. “In the 15 years we have been raising funds for the Food Bank, contributions to the Kid’s Café and Totes for Hope programs have totaled nearly $108,000.”

Using sponsorship money to purchase the food, Land and his co-workers were joined by more than 60 Experient clients along with hotel and supplier partners who helped pack 1,400 bags of food in just over an hour.
