The Expo Group, a general contractor, grew its project management department by one and promoted two.
Mandy Stahl joined the company while Jeremiah Campbell and Daniel Marshman achieved promotions to project manager.
“We are excited to welcome Mandy aboard with her enthusiasm, association experience and social media marketing talents – all of which give her a unique background to support the needs of our clients,” said Randy Pekowski, chief operating officer, The Expo Group.
Mandy Stahl previously worked at the American Society for Association Executives and Helicopter Association International, both of which have large tradeshows in which she played an integral role. Having served as support to her show managers and as an exhibitor, as well as an attendee and a speaker at major tradeshows and conventions, Stahl brings a holistic perspective of events to The Expo Group. She has a passion for connecting communities through face-to-face events and via social media communication tools to further business goals and purposeful agendas.
“Both Jeremiah and Daniel have shown the attention to detail and strong leadership skills required of the project management position,” said Jason Ellenbecker, director, The Expo Group. “They each demonstrate the abilities and knowledge needed to excel in all phases of the accounts they manage and deserve recognition for their continued improvement.”
Campbell has worked as an associate project manager since 2011, shortly after excelling as a customer account manager during fall 2011. He was a part of 30-plus events, working with associations large and small as well as several corporate clients. Campbell thinks that one of the most fascinating details about project management is the creative aspect of each and every conference.
Marshman began in 2012 as a team leader and quickly was promoted to associate project manager. Over the past 12 months, he worked closely with April Hurley on two accounts. Marshman said he loves the challenges each account presents and working with a team who enjoys and cares about The Expo Group and its customers.
