Inspired by 2K’s soon-to-be released game Mafia III, which takes place in a fictionalized city called New Bordeaux, the exhibit featured Mardi Gras revelers throwing beads from balconies, palm readers telling fortunes, and a jazz band providing a nightclub atmosphere. 2K’s reach extended beyond the booth, with an outdoor food truck serving alligator tenders and a jazz funeral procession roaming through the aisles. Sarah Anderson, senior vice president of marketing at 2K, says FG|PG continues to exceed 2K’s expectations. “Every year FG|PG has helped 2K elevate our E3 experience. Their recreation of an immersive 1968 New Bordeaux sets a new bar of excellence. The overall booth design was a marvel and the attention to detail was incredible. I don’t know how we’re going to top it,” says Anderson.
Freddie Georges, founder and CEO of FG|PG, says her design team and on-site production facility worked hand in hand to make the elaborate design a reality. “Attention to detail and precise execution are key in a project of this scale. Whether we are constructing a 20’ x 20’ exhibit or producing a conference for 3500 people, our goal is to make our clients shine,” says Georges.
