Fixation Marketing wins two Art of the Show awards

Fixation Marketing, a woman-owned marketing communications company involved in the tradeshow industry, won two 2013 Art of the Show awards, presented by International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE).

“Having our work singled out from 162 entries is very satisfying,” said Jean Whiddon, president and CEO, Fixation Marketing. “I’m particularly proud of these wins because they represent how we work. Both projects were very much on strategy and got the results our clients wanted to see.”

The awards recognize excellence in the marketing and promotion of events over the past 12 months. Fixation was honored in the following categories: Print Advertising: Over 150,000 nsf for “Game On!” at IAAPA Attractions Expo 2012; and Email Promotion: Over 150,000 nsf for NRF Chairman’s Reception Invitation at Retail’s BIG Show 2013.

Fixation, along with other winners, will be recognized at Expo! Expo! This is IAEE’s Annual Meeting and Exhibition, which will be held Dec. 10-12 in Houston, Texas. Megan Campbell, account services director, and Sharyn Collinson, vice president and managing director, will also be presenting an educational session titled, “4 Small Investments That Can Make a Big Difference in Your Marketing,” at the event.
