Exhibit City News is saddened to report industry pioneer Gerald (Gerry) S. Howard passed away at the age of 83 on Dec. 25, 2012.
Howard was born in Valparaiso, Ind., and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
In the tradeshow industry, Howard followed Leo McDonald as president of the Exhibitgroup Chicago division. After Exhibitgroup was purchased by the Greyhound Corp., Howard served as president of Greyhound Exhibitgroup until 1990.
Arrangements were made by the Davenport Family Funeral Home in Barrington, Ill. No services were scheduled. Memorial donations in Gerry’s name to a favorite animal shelter are appreciated.
