Show planners at the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) Convening Leaders Conference will learn new strategies for retaining exhibitors from a marketing expert.
Kevin Miller, president of Frost Miller Group (FMG), will give planners this knowledge. FMG creates marketing campaigns for tradeshows and meetings.
Taking place Jan. 12-15, 2014 in Boston at Hynes Convention Center, the Convening Leaders Conference is an educational and networking event.
Miller’s first session is “Exhibitor Retention Strategies for the New Economic Landscape,” on Jan. 14, from 11:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m. He will help planners develop a formal exhibitor retention plan that is fine-tuned for a fast-changing economic environment. The panel will discuss what goes into such a plan, what resources are needed and how to implement it. Participants will take away 10 exhibitor retention tactics they can apply immediately.
A seasoned presenter, Miller has educated industry executives on content marketing, exhibitor retention, growing attendance, creating a 365-day event experience and more at recent International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) and American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) events.
Barbara A. Myers, CAE, vice president of professional development of pharmaceutical society, ISPE; B.J. Enright, president of event management firm, Tradeshow Logic; and Lawson Hockman, vice president of association services at IMN Solutions, will join Miller as co-presenters.
