Frost Miller Group (FMG) added a new employee to its integrated marketing communications team.
Heather Meyer joined the IMC agency as an account strategist. She will implement clients’ strategies, educate them on the latest marketing trends FMG is utilizing and help create new strategies.
“Heather’s combination of client and industry experience, along with her marketing and design background, makes her ideally suited to understand our clients’ needs and how she can best serve them,” said Kevin Miller, president, Frost Miller Group. “We’re really glad to have her with us.”
Meyer has both agency and in-house marketing experience. During her time as a marketing associate at First Potomac Realty Trust, she created and maintained the corporate marketing budget and successfully spearheaded the firm’s brand update. Meyer began her career at Hisoka Public Relations, moving later to Legal & General America where she ran large-scale incentive travel programs and created branded collateral materials.
Her previous experience—working on long-term marketing budgets, coordinating corporate events, managing email campaigns and fostering relationships with vendors and clients—will be an asset to FMG.
Meyer has a bachelor’s degree from American University in Washington, D.C. where she majored in public communications and minored in graphic design. This gave her the ability to blend a client’s visual message and strategic components of marketing campaigns.
