Gary Collins Joins Torus Power

Torus Power, a Canadian power company that supplies the pro audio market with its line of toroidal-based isolation solutions, is pleased to introduce the newest member of the Torus Power team: Gary Collins.

Collins graduated from Ryerson University with an electrical engineering diploma and began his career working in the commercial security industry. He spent 20 years with Chubb Security starting as a bench technician and advancing to Technical Support Manager. While working for Chubb, Collins also attained diplomas in telecommunications and network concepts and information systems from Humber College in Toronto. For the past five years, he has been providing inside sales and technical support for commercial emergency communication systems.

In his business roles Collins has traveled throughout North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Asia, Australia and New Zealand providing onsite system training, commissioning and troubleshooting services. He specializes in providing technical guidance and support for commercial security and communications systems and brings a strong technology background to Torus Power.

Torus Power Products, which are designed and manufactured by Plitron Manufacturing in Toronto, Canada, provide power management solutions for audio and AV systems, from 5 amps up to 100 amps, in a variety of packaging choices, including balanced input (2 x 120V) custom installation models for dedicated whole room systems, and 120V plug-in models.
