The George R. Brown Convention Center has added a national sales manager to its team.
Heather Ives Hernandez will be responsible for corporate accounts.
Hernandez comes to the George R. Brown from InterContinental Houston hotel, where she started as executive meetings manager and most recently served as corporate sales manager. Heather began her hospitality career as sales administrative assistant at the Hilton Americas-Houston, which is attached to the George R. Brown.
“Heather brings more than eight years of industry experience to the George R. Brown and will strengthen our position in both local and national corporate markets,” said Terry M. Beutler, CASE, director of sales for the George R. Brown.
Hernandez is a graduate of Texas A&M University and is a board member of the Houston chapter of Meeting Professionals International.
