GES adds three to its global events team

Global Experience Specialists (GES), an exhibition, event and retail marketing services, has announced the addition of three experienced industry professionals.

Debra Goodlett, Bill Mattes and Christy Sapone recently joined the global events’ team to continue to grow GES’ corporate events business around the world.

Debra Goodlett joined GES as a program sales executive. Prior to joining GES, she was marketing director at Cadillac, working closely on its corporate events. Goodlett is based in GES’ Dallas client care center.

“Debra has consistently produced results, and it’s exciting to have someone with Debra’s rich and deep experience join the GES team,” said Doug Shockley, vice president of global/corporate events and client relations.

Bill Mattes is a sales executive responsible for managing the sales process for corporate events as well as pricing, design management and production management specifically for global events. Mattes is based in GES’ Dallas client care center.

“Bill brings a wide background of experience to his relationship with clients and in his six years at GES he has grown the regional sales team and delivered tremendous value and service,” said Shockley. “His 28-year industry experience provides him with a unique point of view and the ability to serve innovative solutions that exceed expectations.”

Christy Sapone was promoted to GES’ vice president of business development for the global events team, managing corporate event clients as well as program accounts. Prior to joining GES four years ago, Sapone worked with Newell Rubbermaid, where she managed the flagship brand with Lowe’s home improvement stores. Sapone is based out of Buffalo, NY.

“Christy has consistently produced excellent operational results and together with her broad, industry knowledge, and the GES complete ‘one stop offerings,’ she will provide exceptional service to our global corporate clients,” said Shockley.
