GES mourns loss of beloved account executive

GES mourns the loss of Lee H. Kleidon, age 68, who passed away on March 7, 2013, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Lee H. KleidonFor 40 years, Lee served as a senior account executive with GES.  Lee was known for his attention to detail while his devotion to the GES team and clients leaves a legacy.  Those who worked with him remember his thorough knowledge of every part and piece of every booth – often knowing it even better than the account manager.

Lee had found the perfect balance between his personal, work and client families.  He had a zeal for his work and took the time to mentor more than 50 account managers with both passion and patience on the “Kleidon” methods of best practices.  His clients admired him for the great pride he took in his job.

In September 2012, the GES Chicago team participated in the ALS Walk4Life in support of Lee who battled Lou Gehrig’s disease. The GES team wore purple shirts, Lee’s favorite color, which read “Stand in Hope. Walk with Faith. Fear Not.” on the front with a tribute to “Kleidon” on the backside.

Lee was an incredible role model in our industry. He is survived by his wife, Cindy; daughter, Kristi; son, Jonathan; sister, Carol; and six grandchildren. Memorials held in Lee Kleidon’s name will be appreciated to Les Turner ALS Foundation at www.lesturnerals.org or Athletes in Action – Basketball at www.give.ccci.org; designation # 2778384.
