In a continual effort to meet the needs of its members, the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) developed a microsite specifically to meet the needs of its members and prospective members in India.
Exhibitions and events industry professionals in India can now conveniently find relevant information to support their growing influence.
Additionally, members in India can connect to each other through IAEE’s Member Communities’ web site. The community portal allows members to communicate, share files, participate in discussion forums, schedule meetings and/or calls, and more.
“IAEE is very excited to offer this new microsite and dedicated member community for our members in India,” said Steven Hacker, CAE, and IAEE president. “Now more than ever, social media and networking are vital to conducting business, and this is one more example of how IAEE is meeting the needs of its members. In the long-term, we plan to analyze and review our efforts to make any requested modifications to create best practices for the international communities we serve.”
IAEE will debut its presence in India May 27-28 at the Expo Summit India conference in New Delhi. IAEE will participate in the event that focuses on the exhibition and event industry in India with a series of workshops and presentations.
Members in the U.S. and elsewhere are being solicited to participate as presenters and to attend the event.
Both the India microsite and Member Communities web site allows the user to customize settings including profile information, groups, links and subscriptions. Members can join forums and communities, participate in surveys and polls, share files, maintain a calendar and view other members’ profiles.
The latest news items will also be available on the site, so members may be completely up-to-date on the latest actions and issues.
