Global Spectrum, the management company of the Owensboro Convention Center, has partnered with Stewart Promotions to bring a list of new shows to the convention center in 2014.
“We are very excited to have our shows at the Owensboro Convention Center,” said Terry Stewart, president, Stewart Promotions. “It’s incredible to see everything that is happening in Owensboro. With the new riverfront park and Convention Center, we are looking forward to 2014 and have already started looking at dates for 2015.”
With five flea markets and one Christmas Gifts & Décor Show added to the roster, the events are expected to bring in 10,000 to 12,000 attendees per show, creating a positive economic impact on the community.
“This is a big deal for the Owensboro Convention Center and the community,” said Dean Dennis, general manager, Owensboro Convention Center. “Stewart Promotions is an established promotions company with a great reputation. We look forward to a successful relationship.”
Located in Louisville, Ky., Stewart Promotions started as a family owned business in 1973. In almost 40 years, the company has expanded to promoting and operating shows in Louisville; Indianapolis, Ind.; Knoxville, Tenn.; and now, Owensboro.
