The Las Vegas chapter of the EDPA hosted the 11th Annual Tradeshow Industry Education Scholarship Golf Classic at the Revere Golf Club in Henderson. Golfers enjoyed a mild breeze in the desert as they teed off in the early morning on the first official day of summer.
Unlike prior years, golf scores were not placed on the board as the golfers returned to the country club. This year, EDPA announced the winners for men and women’s first, second and third place during the luncheon. Two golfers tied for first place, for which the winner was chosen by individual scorecards. Pictures of the golf tournament were playing onscreen while winners happily claimed their trophies.

Approximately 80 guests sat down to a Mexican meal of beef and chicken tacos and scrumptious chocolate cake while overlooking the golf course with a panoramic view of the Strip in the distance. Prize donations for the raffle drawing included fun prizes, such as an electronic golf training set, tickets to legendary Las Vegas shows, a Coach purse set and the grand prize – a 42-inch flat screen TV.
All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the EDPA Foundation Scholarship Fund for families of industry members pursuing higher levels of education.
