Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk has been named the No. 1 conference hotel in San Antonio by U.S. News & World Report.
Hotel earns conference ranking
The hotel also ranked among the top 10 conference hotels in the United States, according to the release. The ranking follows U.S. News & World Report’s 2026-2027 Best Conference Cities and Best Conference Hotels list.
San Antonio ranked ninth among U.S. conference cities. U.S. News & World Report evaluated 52 major U.S. destinations for the city list and ranked 30.
Convention access drives meetings appeal
Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk is adjacent to the Henry B. González Convention Center. The hotel offers more than 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.
The property includes the 30,000-square-foot Texas Ballroom, the 21,000-square-foot Lone Star Ballroom, and 29 breakout rooms.

Fender says the hotel’s connection to the convention center and its updated event spaces help support conference groups.
Renovation adds to group offerings
The ranking follows a multi-million-dollar renovation of the hotel’s lobby, public spaces, and dining venues. The project included updates to Moda Fare, Tejas Lounge, and Spoonful Provisions.
The hotel also has 1,003 guest rooms, a rooftop pool, fitness center, and access to downtown San Antonio attractions.
