Greater Madison CVB wins prestigious award

The Greater Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) announced its newest designation as the “Most Helpful CVB” in Wisconsin as determined by the readers of Wisconsin Meetings magazine. In an upcoming issue of the publication, GMCVB will be honored with a short article highlighting its work.

“I am so proud of the hard work of our amazing staff,” said Deb Archer, president, GMCVB. “What this means is that we are living out our brand promise of Going>Beyond>Visit with every visitor to our region. Going>Beyond>Visit is more than a motto or a tagline. At its core, it is a promise to deliver exceptional customer service to all and that is something we take very seriously. To be recognized for this by our peers in the industry is very special.”

Promoting tourism in Madison since 1972, the GMCVB plays a key role in supporting more than 19,000 Dane County jobs supported by tourism, and continues to work strategically to expand upon the more than $1.7 billion dollars generated by visitor spending in Dane Country every year.
